Serving the Catholics of Skipton, Craven and the Dales
Caritas Leeds Criminal Justice Inquiry
Caritas Leeds has recently completed a 2-year inquiry into the criminal justice system.
In October 2020, Bishop Marcus launched Justice & Mercy, a report containing the findings and recommendations for the Diocese, and a series of online resources to help Catholics take action locally. You can access these at www.dioceseofleeds.org.uk/caritas/
Please click here for information about a series of online workshops to learn about how the criminal justice system works, hear personal testimonies from people with lived experience and explore how Catholics can take action to promote both justice and mercy.
The first workshop, Understanding the Criminal Justice System, will be on Saturday 17 April from 11am to 12-30pm, led by Danielle Kingsley, a barrister with over 20 years of experience and a Commissioner of the Caritas Leeds Criminal Justice Inquiry. Registration is by Eventbrite - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/caritas-leeds-31188104135
