Morecambe Bay 28 June 2015
On 28 June 2015 members of the Walking Group went on a walk across Morecambe Bay, guided by 82 year old Cedric Robinson MBE. He led hundreds of men, women and children and plenty of dogs across the Bay from Arnside to Kent's Bank, equipped with a whistle, an ash stick and a lifetime's experience of guiding over the sands. The weather was kind, the views were stunning and everyone was safely guided away from the quicksands, through the strong currents of the River Kent back to dry land - it was a truly unforgettable experience.
